Full Inspection
Every Garment Examined Before It Leaves Our Hands
100% Final Inspection: Our Last Line of Defense for Quality
At TTgarment, we do not rely on statistical sampling alone to protect our clients from defective shipments. Our full inspection protocol means that every single finished garment is examined by a trained quality control inspector before it is approved for packing. This comprehensive approach is our strongest guarantee that what leaves our factory meets the standard that was agreed upon — and the standard your customers expect.
What We Inspect
Our final inspection covers every dimension of garment quality. Inspectors examine each piece for sewing defects (skipped stitches, broken seams, uneven seam allowances), appearance defects (fabric stains, holes, snags, pilling), measurement compliance (chest, length, sleeve, waist, and other critical dimensions checked against the approved size spec), decoration accuracy (print placement, embroidery alignment, color matching), and finishing quality (thread trimming, label placement, button security, zipper function).
Measurement Verification
A statistically significant sample from each size within the order is measured against the approved measurement chart. Tolerances are applied per the client specification — typically ±1cm for most dimensions and ±0.5cm for critical fit dimensions. Any size that falls outside tolerance is flagged for investigation to determine whether the issue is isolated or systemic, and corrective action is taken before the remainder of that size is packed.
AQL Grading and Defect Classification
Defects identified during final inspection are classified as Critical (safety hazards, unacceptable under any circumstance), Major (functional or aesthetic defects that would cause a consumer to reject the product), or Minor (slight imperfections that do not significantly affect appearance or function). Our internal AQL standard is set at 2.5 for Major defects and 4.0 for Minor defects — aligned with international retail and brand requirements. Orders that fail AQL are held for 100% re-inspection and rework before re-submission.
Third-Party Inspection Support
For clients who require independent verification, TTgarment fully supports third-party inspections by agencies such as SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, and QIMA. We provide complete access to production records, measurement charts, and material certifications to facilitate a smooth and transparent inspection process. Our consistently high pass rates with third-party inspectors reflect the effectiveness of our internal quality systems.
