Cuffs and waistbands are among the most structurally and aesthetically significant details in a garment. They define the silhouette, influence the fit, and contribute substantially to the overall quality perception of the finished product. At TTgarment, we offer a comprehensive range of cuff and waistband customization options, from standard rib knit constructions to fully bespoke jacquard-woven trims that carry brand logos, patterns, or colour-block designs.
Our knitting department produces custom rib cuffs and waistbands in a wide range of weights, constructions, and colour combinations. Standard options include 1x1 rib, 2x2 rib, and waffle constructions in cotton, cotton-polyester blends, and elastane-enhanced yarns for improved recovery and durability. For premium applications, we offer custom yarn blending to achieve specific colour matches, and jacquard knitting for designs incorporating logos, text, or geometric patterns directly into the fabric structure.
Functional and Aesthetic Options
Beyond standard rib constructions, TTgarment offers a range of specialty cuff solutions designed to meet specific functional or aesthetic requirements. Thumbhole cuffs, popular in activewear and technical streetwear, can be incorporated into long-sleeve styles to provide additional coverage and a secure fit during physical activity. Ribbed cuffs with contrast colour tipping add a premium finishing detail to hoodies and sweatshirts, while flat-knit cuffs provide a cleaner, more contemporary aesthetic for minimalist designs.
All custom cuff and waistband specifications are documented in the tech pack and approved through the sample review process before production commences. Our quality control team checks cuff dimensions, elasticity, and colour consistency at multiple points during production to ensure that every unit meets the approved specification.
