TT Garment's Social Responsibility Framework: Beyond Compliance
The global apparel industry faces intense scrutiny over its social and environmental impact — and rightly so. At TT Garment, we believe that responsible manufacturing is not a marketing exercise but a fundamental business obligation. Our Social Responsibility framework addresses worker welfare, environmental stewardship, and community engagement in ways that go beyond regulatory compliance.
Worker Welfare & Fair Labor Practices
Every worker at TT Garment is employed under a formal contract with clearly defined working hours, overtime compensation, and leave entitlements in full compliance with Chinese labor law. We conduct anonymous worker satisfaction surveys twice annually and act on the findings. Our factory maintains a grievance mechanism that allows workers to raise concerns without fear of retaliation — a practice verified by third-party social auditors.
Safe & Healthy Working Environment
Our factory undergoes annual safety audits covering fire prevention, chemical handling, ventilation, ergonomics, and emergency procedures. We invest continuously in equipment upgrades that reduce physical strain and occupational hazards. Our lost-time injury rate is consistently below the industry average, reflecting genuine commitment rather than cosmetic compliance.
Environmental Management
TT Garment has implemented a structured environmental management program targeting our three largest impact areas: water consumption, chemical use, and waste generation. We have reduced water consumption per unit by 30% over the past three years through process optimization and equipment upgrades. All chemical inputs are screened against our Restricted Substances List, which aligns with REACH and OEKO-TEX requirements.
Community Engagement
We are proud members of the local manufacturing community and contribute to it through apprenticeship programs that provide skills training to young workers, partnerships with local vocational schools, and support for community health initiatives. Our factory employs over 200 local residents, making us a meaningful contributor to the economic vitality of our region.
Transparency & Third-Party Verification
We welcome client-initiated social audits and regularly engage accredited third-party auditors to verify our practices. Audit reports are available to clients upon request. We believe that transparency is the foundation of trust, and trust is the foundation of lasting business relationships.
When you manufacture with TT Garment, you can be confident that your products are made responsibly — for your customers, your brand, and the world.
